Heipōtiki is an authentic contemporary interpretation of the traditional hei tiki — refined for modern everyday wear while carrying the enduring presence of taonga Māori.

Originally carved by kaiwhakairo Huia Edmonds (Ngāti Porou, Tūwharetoa), each Heipōtiki is cast from an original hand-carved taonga and reimagined into a timeless contemporary form. Inspired by whakapapa, Huia creates authentic taonga designed to be worn, treasured and passed on through generations.

Care

Store your taonga in a dry place and polish gently with a soft jewellery cloth when required. Bronze pieces will naturally deepen in tone over time, developing a rich individual patina.
